Antonio M. Medina, 83, a resident of Pinos Altos, NM entered eternal rest Thursday, January 7, 2015.
He was born March 13, 1932 in Gila, NM to Martin P. Medina and Guillerma Muñoz
He is survived by his companion of eighteen years, Genoveva Padilla of Silver City; one son, Lorenzo Medina of Silver City; one daughter, Judith of New Jersey; five sisters, Mary Soto and husband John of Phoenix, AZ; Martina Jaramillo of Phoenix, AZ; Frances Dominguez and husband Gilbert of Phoenix, AZ; Olivia Martinez of Phoenix and Rosa Guzman also of Phoenix, AZ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mary Montoya Medina; one brother, Juan Medina; two sisters, Cruz Rivera and Nieves Vasquez.
Visitation will be Monday, January 11 from 5-6pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the prayer vigil and holy rosary to begin at 6pm with Deacon Richard Rodriguez reciting. The funeral liturgy will be Tuesday, January 12 at 10am at St. Vincent Catholic Church with Father Oliver Obele officiating.
Pallbearers will be Johnny, Rocky, Armando and Armando Medina Jr., Sam and Lorenzo Medina. Honorary pallbearer will be Kennth Muñoz.
Inurnment of cremains will be at a later date. Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory.
