Tel Aviv, Israel - In Fall 2015 the NM Israel Business Exchange, with assistance from the New Mexico Economic Development Department's Office of International Trade organized a trade mission to Israel for the International Water Technology & Environment Control Conference in Tel Aviv. This particular trade show offered New Mexico business leaders, government officials and entrepreneurs the opportunity to network with Israeli officials.
New Mexico and Israel have a long established track record as trading partners and have both benefited from shared industries like energy aerospace, technology and water. The trip was possible in part from assistance from the New Mexico Economic Development Department which helped with STEP funds. The STEP Program helps eligible New Mexico businesses seeking to expand their markets abroad through trade shows, trade missions and workshops focused on export basics, along with other international trade promotion efforts.
