What’s New At The Gospel Mission For The Week Of Dec 21-27

This week we will be handing out Christmas baskets and gifts to needy families case workers around the community have chosen and we will be having our traditional Christmas Dinner on Christmas Day, Friday, December 25th between 11 am and 1 pm.

If you would like to lend a hand we will be doing prep work on Thursday at 1 pm in the soup kitchen and beginning dinner preparations at 8 am on Christmas Day. Please give us a call or drop by so we can put you on the list.

Life Skills Classes: 8:30-9 am

Soup Kitchen
Continental Breakfast: 8:30 am-12 pm Monday through Friday
Lunch: 12 pm-1 pm Daily

Wednesday-Tuna Casserole
Thursday-Posole
Friday-Traditional Christmas Dinner with turkey and all of the trimmings
Saturday-WNMU Day
Sunday-Turkey Sandwiches with Barbara’s Crew

Shelter

Sierra House Women And Children’s Shelter
-Permanent residents by application

Men’s Cold Weather Shelter
-Doors open at 5:00 pm each night and are locked at 7:30 pm

Showers and Laundry: 8:30 am -11:30 am

Food bank, clothing bank and thrift store: 8:30 am-1:30 pm

Case workers are available to pray with you and help you out in other ways
Food, clothing, and household goods donations are accepted at the front door between 8:30 am and 1:30 pm every Tuesday through Thursday
Drop by for a tour if you want a behind the scenes look or want to volunteer
