Helen M. Stefan of Deming, N.M., died Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 89 years old.
Per her request no services will be held. Cremation by Baca's Mimbres Crematory.
She was born January 10th 1926 in Chicago, Ill. to Mabel and Mardo Hamby. She married Steven C. Stefan in Gary, In. on September 19th, 1954 and was a housewife with one son.
They moved to Deming in 2002, to be close to their son (Randy D. Stefan and his wife Carole Stefan).
She was preceded by her parents, and 2 sisters (Lu-Celle Clingan and Ruth Larrabee) and husband Steven C. Stefan.
Survivors include son, Randy D. Stefan; sister, Sandra Faye Hopkins and husband Oilver; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the Deming Presbyterian Church.
