This Saturday is Locals Appreciation Day at the Grant County Art Guild's Pinos Altos Art Gallery located in the historic Hearst Church. It is the chosen way for the Guild to say "Thank you!" to area residents for their continued support over the years. Saturday will feature special refreshments, door prizes and reduced prices on many pieces of arts and crafts throughout the gallery.
Our visitors did the voting last weekend and the ribbons have been hung for the winners of the Guild's Red Dot Art Show. This weekend is the perfect time to come and check out the winners in paintings, photography, miniatures and crafts. October 18 is the final day of the Red Dot Art Show and the closing of this unique gallery for the season. Friday, Saturday and Sunday open hours are 10 a.m. till 5 p.m. Browsers and buyers are always welcome and there is never an entry fee.
