I-25/Missouri Bridge - Las Cruces
The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) along with FNF Construction (Contractor) continues work along I-25 and the city roadway enhancements of Missouri Avenue and its intersections of Triviz Drive and Don Roser Drive.
I-25 north bound traffic has been detoured onto the southbound alignment with one lane restrictions between University and Lohman Avenue. University northbound on ramp will continue to merge into one lane, please be cautious when entering freeway off the ramp.
City intersections of Missouri Avenue/Don Roser Drive and Missouri Avenue/Triviz Drive will continue to have active construction. The traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction and will continue into the week of October 12th.
The south leg of Don Roser Drive between Missouri Avenue and Fairway Drive will continue to be closed. A wall barrier must be constructed before the reopening of this section. The north bound Missouri Avenue bridge demo is scheduled for the weekend of October 10th. A complete road closure at Missouri Avenue between Don Roser Drive and Triviz Dr. is scheduled for Friday October 9th beginning at 7:00pm and reopening Monday October 12th at 5:00am.
To complete the electrical installation, it will be necessary to trench across Don Roser Drive and Triviz Drive. Contractor plans to do this work on the weekend of October 2nd through the October 4th. Triviz Drive will be closed between Johns Street and E. Idaho Avenue between Friday at 8:00PM to Monday at 5:00AM. We apologize for any inconvenience and will work intensely to accelerate this closure.
The next Public Meeting will be Wednesday October 28, 2015 which will start promptly at 6:00 pm at the NMDOT Las Cruces Complex located at 750 N. Solano.
I-10/Union Bridge-University - Las Cruces
The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) along with La Calerita Construction (Contractor) continues work at the I-10/Ramp E Bridge and the I-10/Union Avenue Bridge in Las Cruces, New Mexico. I-10 westbound lanes will continue to be detoured through the eastbound passing lane. Speed restrictions remain in effect through the I-10 construction zone. Eastbound access to I-10 at Valley Drive and University Avenue is closed. The detour signs will be in place for motorists' guidance around the work zone.
The next Public Meeting will be Tuesday, October 13, 2015 which will start promptly at 6:00 pm at the NMDOT Las Cruces Complex located at 750 N. Solano.
N. Main/US 70 - Las Cruces
The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) along with G. Sandoval Construction (Contractor) has placed traffic control devices stationed along N. Main/US-70 from Picacho Avenue to Solano Drive. Traffic will all be shifted over to the outside lanes in order to begin placing the median islands and start paving operations.

I-25/Rincon (South of Hatch, NM)
The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) along with MANS Construction (Contractor) currently have traffic control placed on I-25 between mile marker 35.619 to 39.0, south of Hatch, New Mexico. The Contractor has begun roadway rehabilitation by milling the existing roadway and resurfacing the interstate where motorists will encounter lane and speed reductions during working hours. The Contractor's schedule is Monday to Friday from 6:00 am until 6:00 pm, and may change as work progresses.
I-25, T or C, NM – Bridge Repair
The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) with Villalobos Construction (Contractor) is currently repairing bridges from mile markers 80.2 to 81.7 with one lane closed in each direction 24/7. Please use caution.
New Mexico 52/New Mexico 59 - Chip Seal
The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) along with Blue Collar Construction (Contractor) will be working on NM 59 from mile markers 0.00 to 32.00 and New Mexico 52 from mile markers 0.00 to 36.00, where motorist will encounter lane restrictions. There will be pilot car and flagman operations within work zone. Working hours will be from Monday to Sunday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. The work is to be completed by end of October, 2015.
NM 90/Hudson Street Bridge – Silver City
The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) along with Interstate Highway Construction (IHC) (Contractor) has CLOSED all access over the NM 90/Hudson Street Bridge. The NMDOT and IHC continue with the construction of the bridge overpass. The contractor has installed various notifications alerting motorists of the closures. In addition, the NMDOT will have traffic control advising motorists that the county Truck Bypass route will be available. The San Vicente Trail will be closed at Corbin Street along with South Mill Road, and under the bridge.
Contractor will be delivering beams week of September 21st and will work on installation for approximately 10 days. Motorists will encounter the bridge beams (Oversize Loads) being shipped via US 180. Please use caution. There will be patch work on Truck Bypass Road from Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm until work completed.
The next Public Involvement Meeting is scheduled for 6:00 pm on Wednesday October 21, 2015 at the Grant County Administration Building, 1400 Hwy. 180 E, Silver City, NM 88061. The meeting will start promptly at 6:00 pm with members of the NMDOT and IHC will be available to answer any questions the public may have regarding the project.
US 180 East, Silver City – Mill & Inlay
New Mexico Department of Transportation along with Mountain States Construction (Contractor) will be performing Roadway Rehabilitation beginning Wednesday, September 16, 2015 on US 180 East from mile marker 115.3 to mile marker 120.5. Work has been completed on the east bound passing lane and westbound passing lane. Work has begun on the westbound driving lane. Traffic control will utilize a right lane closure with speed reduced to 45 MPH. Project will continue through end of October 2015. Contractor will begin milling at 5:00 am and paving will end at 7:00 pm
I-10 Lordsburg
The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) along with James Hamilton Construction (Contractor) will be performing bridge repair work and partial reconstruction of the roadway at mile marker 29 beginning Tuesday, September 29th. Detour signs will be installed for traffic, which will be switched to either the eastbound lane or west bound lane, accordingly. There will be reduced speed through the construction zone to 55 MPH.
NM 478 Mesquite to Anthony, NM
The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) with Paveover Inc. (Contractor) will be working on NM 478 with pilot vehicle and flagging operations. The work will consist of recycling the existing mat in order to aid in extending the longevity of the roadway. The Contractor will be working from mile markers 0 to 10.0. Traffic control operations will be Monday to Saturday from 7:00 am until 6:00 pm, and is expected to be complete by the beginning of November, 2015.
NM 213, Chaparral, NM
The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) along with J & H Supply and Smith and Aguirre Construction (Contractors) will be installing guardrail along NM 213 between mile marker 0 to 6.2 where motorists will encounter lane restriction as a pilot car operation and flagman will be positioned within the work zone working hours Monday to Friday from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm. The contractor should be complete by beginning of October, 2015.
Deming Area - Chip Sealing Project
The New Mexico Department of Transportation Chip Seal Crew will begin chip sealing, Monday, October 5th on NM 549 mile marker 4 to mile marker 119 with flagging and pilot car operations.

Alameda Blvd
From Three Crosses to W. Picacho Avenue will have intermittent lane closures. Access to residents and businesses will be maintained at all times. Motorists will be asked to decrease speed through the construction zone and should proceed with caution
Amador Avenue
Open to through traffic.
Circle Drive
From Brown Road to Compress Road will have intermittent lane closures. Access to residents and businesses will be maintained at all times. Motorists will be asked to decrease speed through the construction zone and should proceed with caution.
Don Roser
From University Avenue to Terrace Drive will have intermittent lane closures. Access to residents and businesses will be maintained at all times. Motorists will be asked to decrease speed through the construction zone and should proceed with caution.

Hickory Loop
From Avenida de Mesilla to Walmart will have intermittent lane closures. Access to residents and businesses will be maintained at all times. Motorists will be asked to decrease speed through the construction zone and should proceed with caution.

At the intersection with US 70/Main Street will be open with a four way stop. Access to residents will be maintained. Motorists will be asked to decrease speed through the construction zone and should proceed with caution.

From Solano Drive to Calle Sosa will have intermittent lane closures. Access to residents and businesses will be maintained at all times. Motorists will be asked to decrease speed through the construction zone and should proceed with caution.

From N. Main Street to Bugati Drive will have intermittent lane closures. Access to residents and businesses will be maintained at all times. Motorists will be asked to decrease speed through the construction zone and should proceed with caution.
