(Espanola, NM) PMI celebrates it's grand opening of a 11,000 square foot flagship store and warehouse facility in Espanola. New Mexico. PMI currently provides over 60 jobs in the valley, hired 10 new employees and is currently hiring. PMI plans for further future expansion to bring their quality sales and service to more communities. Owners Eric and Celina acknowledged their employees for their superior work and how much they appreciate them.
PMI also recognized the following supporting organizations for helping them grow their business; the Española Small Business Development Center (SBDC), the Regional Development Corporation (RDC), Los Alamos National Laboratory MSC, Espanola Chamber of Commerce, and John Young, builder.
"The Espanola Small Business Development Center was instrumental in assisting my business in building our new retail store and warehouse." Says owner Eric Quintana. "Julianna Barbee and Ida Carillo stayed in touch with us every step of our planning and building process. We were given marketing help with both their advice and through the SBDC. Through the networking provided by the SBDC we are in contact with the other businesses in the area and nationwide if we so wish. They have helped us grow our business."

Owners Eric and Celina's sons, Eric & Daven both work in the business and are being positioned to lead PMI into the future.
"I have grown up with PMI and I have seen the hard work and dedication of my parent's vision come to fruition, says Davin. "I have witnessed how ambition and dedication cannot only provide for my parents and our family, but also for many other families as well. One aspect I truly admire about our business and my parents is that they have been able to provide work for over at least 150 families over this 20-year endeavor. I have also witnessed how the work doesn't stop for them even now. They may be working more now, than when they were both working two full time jobs. It takes grit and fortitude to pursue your dreams and to stick with it through all the challenges owning a business presents. I am blessed and grateful to have the opportunity to take what my parents have built even further. I know it will be a challenge, but they have set for me and my brother the opportunity to take this business further than any of us could have ever of imagined. I am a proud and lucky son, who is ready to accept the challenge of helping my parents dream become our reality."

It wasn't an easy road to get here. My brother and I would cry because they would take us to clean with them, and I look back at it now and realize how tough it was for them.
