George J. Skiba 81 of Silver City, New Mexico passed away peacefully with his loved one by his side on Sunday, September 27, 2015. A Rosary Recital will be held at Bright Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 6:00pm with Deacon Bill Holguin officiating. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 10:00am at Saint Francis Newman Center with interment following at Memory Lane Cemetery.
Mr. Skiba is survived by his wife Lydia Moncada, four children Susan DeLaPenda, Daniel Skiba, Gregory Skiba and Joseph Skiba, and one sister, Renetta.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He was an avid tool maker, enjoyed traveling, and loved to pan gold.
He was president of the Lions Club.
Pallbearers will be his friends.
