On Sunday afternoon, Marines from Gaffney-Oglesby Marine Corps Detachment 1328 gathered for a luncheon on the Wrangler's Patio to honor Gold Star Mothers, those who have lost children in combat. Grant County has three, Mary Cowan, Mary Lou Grijalva and Kay Beeman. Beeman was on hand to be feted.
