San Vicente Artists of Silver City will hold its annual Landscape Art Show the weekend of Sep- tember 25 to 27 with three categories of art: painting and drawing, photogrpahy, and fiber art.
The show will be held at the Artist Lair Gallery at the corner of Texas and Market Streets in the old Elks' club. Entries will be received between 10 a.m. and noon on September 25 and judging will take place that afternoon.
Jim Kane will serve as the judge. He has a master of fine art from the University of Wyoming, has taught painting, drawing, sculpture, and design at Alabama A&M, the University of Iowa, Westfield State, and the University of Wisconsin.
The show opening will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, September 25.
The public is wecome to the show viewing from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, and from 10 a.m. to noon, Sunday, Sept. 27.
