The Southwest Chicano Music Association is presenting its Music Festival, and Car and Bike Show this Labor Day Weekend, September 4-6. The holiday weekend includes music featuring more than a dozen groups and performers on stages throughout Silver City:

- Evolution and Onda Chicana
- Natajja
- Los Latinos
Friday Sept. 4
The festivities begin with a Kick-off Dance at The Flame Convention Center with Darren Cordova Y Caler, Darren Lee, and Dynette Marie. Doors open at 8pm, advance tickets $20 per person, $25 at the door. For advance ticket info contact Vivian Flores at Western or Call (575) 590-7100.
Saturday, Sept. 5
- Car Show and music. Registration starts at 8 am, show starts at 11 am.
- Music at Gough Park by local ands and those from surrounding areas.
Sunday Sept. 6
Music from 11 am to 5 pm at Gough Park.
