Corina S. Martinez, 94 a resident of North Hurley, New Mexico, entered eternal rest Saturday, August 15, 2015.
Visitation will held Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 3pm to 4:30pm at Baca's Funeral Chapels, Silver City, NM. The Holy Rosary will be recited at 6 O'clock by Deacon Arthur Gutierrez at Infant Jesus Catholic Church, 204 Cortez Ave, Hurley, New Mexico.
The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10 O'clock in the morning Friday, August 21, 2015 at Infant Jesus Catholic Church, Father Roberto Barreto officiating. Concluding services and interment will follow at Hurley Cemetery.
Corina was born December 25, 1920, to Efren and Theodosa Sedillos. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. Her family remembers her as a loving, kind, and compassionate person who enjoyed the friendship of everyone she met.
She is survived by her children and spouses Rodolpho ‘JR'(Holley) of Silver City; daughters Carmen of N. Hurley, Tillie of Phoenix, AZ, Leonora of Las Cruces, Mary Helen of Phoenix, AZ , Delia (Eddie) of Las Cruces,and her brother Reynaldo Sedillos (Nora) also of Las Cruces as well as 18 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.
Corina was preceeded in death by her husband Rodolfo C Martinez, parents Theodosa "Tocha" and Efren Sedillos, Sisters Maria Lozano, Lupe Padilla, Isidra (Chila) Padilla, Tomasa (Tome) Ogas, Brothers Jesus Sedillos, Jose Sedillos, Jimmy Sedillos and Ricardo (Lalo) Sedillos.
Serving as pallbearers will be Steve Martinez, Sam Gomez, Steven Gomez, Ricardo Enriquez, Jason Hausermann, David Muniz, Anna Caldera and Stephanie Martinez. Honorary pallbearers- her brother, Reynaldo Sedillos and all her Grandchildren.
