"Coyotes, Wolves and Spirituality" will be the topic on Sunday, June 21st, at 10:00 a.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 3845 N. Swan.
Speaker Larry McLaud spent thirteen seasons working with fire, and another fourteen years with conservation groups. These years, along with forty years as a "wilderness wanderer", helped form his view of the natural world. He has also spent thirty years as a student of the Tao, which provides a spiritual framework for his life.
Mr. McLaud, a native of New York state, went to college in Virginia, Idaho and Oregon. He served as a Peace Corp Volunteer in Afghanistan and Malaysia.
Music at Sunday's service will be provided by local singer-songwriter Greg Renfro, whose original, acoustic music is recognized for themes of love, friendship, living in nature and the Southwest.
Visitors are welcome to join in the service, and to get acquainted over coffee, tea and cookies following the program.
