Bayard Police Department

Monday, Aug. 17

Suspicious vehicle
Cobre high School
Caller advised that a named male just picked up a scale from the back of the high school and drove off in an older white Cadillac with silver rims. Officer advised en route to North Hurley to ATL for the vehicle.

Tuesday, Aug. 18

Welfare check
Cobre High School
Scale was brought back to the school.

Assault
N. East Street
Caller advised that his intoxicated girlfriend was punching caller’s friend. Officer advised to send ambulance for a 23-year-old who was it in the face several times/eye is closed/nose is possibly broken.

Larceny
East Street
Caller advised that a named male just stole caller’s chrome bicycle.

Wednesday, Aug. 19

Domestic disturbance
S. Canyon Street
Caller advised of a verbal with his girlfriend.

Disturbance
S. Yucca Street
Caller advised there is a loud 4-wheeler. Officer had negative contact but will speak to owner.

Thursday, Aug. 20

Domestic disturbance
Empire Street
Caller advised that a named male is beating up his girlfriend. Advised the male left in a gray and brown Chevy. Officer advised that both parties did separate/clear.

Monday, Aug. 17

Criminal trespass
Caller advised that someone was trespassing on his property and does not know if anything was taken, as caller has not gone outside. Officer walked around the property with negative contact.

Domestic disturbance
N. Hutchinson Street
Caller advised that caller’s sister is causing problems. Officer made contact with a named female at a Hutchinson Street address.

Tuesday, Aug. 18

Domestic disturbance
N. Bellm Street
Caller advised that her brother is causing problems and her husband wrestled him to the ground. Advised that her brother did calm down but she wants him removed.

Missing persons
Santa Clara Police Department
Caller advised her 3-year-old son has been missing since yesterday. Advised that he was supposed to be with his grandmother going to Deming for a couple of hours and then returning.

Wednesday, Aug. 19

Domestic disturbance
Catarena Court
Caller advised that nothing physical yet, but fears for a son and his dad.

S. Prescott Street – 6 p.m.
Caller advised having some issues with her 17-year-old son who has anxiety issues and panic attacks. EMS advised no patient contact – cancelled by FD. Officers advised en route to Las Cruces with juvi.

S. Prescott Street – 9 p.m.
Caller called hysterical in reference to her son being taken by police. Advised that she was scared that her son was going to overdose and did not want her son taken to jail but to GRMC. Officer called caller and advised her of the transfer of the juvi.

Drunkbusters advised to cancel ATL/Luna County got the vehicle.

Tuesday, Aug. 18

Welfare check
Horseshoe Drive – North Hurley
Caller advised that a named male usually goes to the commodities but has not shown up for the past two weeks. Officer had contact with the male and he is fine – staying with his daughter.

Thursday, Aug. 20

Loud music
Diaz and Romero avenues
Caller advised that someone has very loud music on the 500 block of E Street. Officer advised negative contact – it’s really quiet out there. Another officer advised negative contact – music is very low.
