Jose Martinez Flores, 84, Deming resident passed away Tuesday August 11, 2015 in Odessa, Texas.
Visitation will be Saturday evening August 15, 2015 from 7 o'clock until 9 at Baca's Funeral Chapel. Cremation will take place at Baca's Mimbres Crematory.
Jose was born November 24, 1930 in Monahans, Texas to Vicenta Martinez and Juan Flores. He was a Deming resident since 1955 coming from Juarez, Mexico. Jose was a workaholic and worked for several farmers here in Deming, then went to work for Hamilton Construction until his retirement.
Survivors include his wife, Ludivina of the home; 2 sons, Willie Flores of Deming, Raúl Flores of Las Cruces; 2 daughters, Guadalupe Madrid of Odessa, Texas, Gloria Tarazon of Las Cruces; 15 grandchildren,17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Vicenta Flores;his son, Arturo Flores; 3 brothers, Marcos, Manuel, Jesus and 2 sisters, Soledad and Felicitas Flores.
